The thief worked at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center

The clerk, one Marque Gumbs, 33, worked at New York’s prestigious Memorial Sloan-Kettering, a top cancer treatment center. Gumbs, according to reports, ordered the toner cartridges and took delivery in the street.

He sold the toner on for more than one million pounds and used the profits to buy an apartment in the city as well as a new BMW and a diamond-encrusted Rolex.

After he was caught he confessed and he was ordered to forfeit all the goods. He will be sentenced next month. He faces up to seven years in prison for the theft.
