HP has recently announced the arrival of a new colour laser printer for offices, Laserjet CM3530 that boasts of a space saving design and a 850-sheet input capacity. This product is targetted at smaller workgroups at enterprises and small and medium sized businesses.
CM3530 can perform printing, scanning and copying functions. An upgrade of this printer, CM3530fs with additional faxing capability is also available.
The printer leverages upon HP patented ColorSphere toner to output professional looking documents. The best resolution it offers is 1200 X 600 dpi. The printer is also powered with ImageREt 3600 that ensures that all prints are of the highest quality.
Printing speed is unmatchable at 31ppm for both monochrome and colour prints. There is virtually no wait time for the first print to spurt out, thanks to HP’s Instant-On technology.
Other features include a touchscreen control panel mounted on the printer for easy configuration and menu access. Colour Access Control Technology ensures that administrators can provide accesses for specific users for printing in colour.
Both printers, CM3530 and CM3530fs will be available for purchase in the market from the 1st of November 2008. The estimated price for CM3530 is around £1250 and CM3530fs at £1500.
