HP Photosmart C4780

hp c4780The latest photo printer from the HP labs is the Photosmart C4780. What’s more, it’s a multi-function printer that can triple up as a scanner and a copier as well. This home printer comes equipped with a state-of-the-art touchscreen colour panel.

This HP printer is capable of throwing up prints at a best resolution of 4800 X 1200 dpi. It follows HP standard of a monochrome ink cartridge and a packaged colour ink cartridge set; with printer heads perched on them.

Print speed is unquestionable at 29 pages per minute for monochrome and 23 pages per minute for colour. Even if the printer ends up printing at half the speed, it’s still a bonus. Photographs take around 40 seconds.

Wi-Fi and USB 2.0 are the built-in connectivity options for the printer. PictBridge port, which is widely regarded as the most common photo-centric feature is surprisingly missing. However, memory card readers are around to make up for it. HP printers somehow have the knack of doing things completely out of the blue.

This HP Photosmart C4780 printer is priced around £80 exclusive of VAT.
