The HP Photosmart C5580 is a reliable all in one scanner, printer cum copier that comes with out of the box functionalities like Bluetooth connectivity, and user-friendly controls. It allows the user to print directly from Bluetooth enabled devices like cell phones wirelessly within a range of about 30 feet.
The HP Photosmart C5580 does a great job with in exotic software package, which include capability to print web pages directly. And, the printer doesn’t need to be connected to a PC either; indeed, the Photosmart C5580 can even connect photos and documents directly from a memory card as well.
However, one of the downsides to the HP Photosmart C5580 is the terrible noise it produces during its operation, which is considerably louder than the noise produced by other comparable printers. Far worse, it doesn’t work with the 64-bit Vista, and the latest Windows server 2008 operating systems.
The photo print quality, the highly economic HP 57 ink cartridge that it uses, as well as its additional capabilities like Bluetooth connectivity has been the driving force behind its success; but the copying quality of the machine hasn’t been really admired by everybody in town!
In a nutshell, the HP Photosmart C5580 All in One Printer is an ideal deal, if you’re on a look out for an economic printer that has other goodies like Bluetooth connectivity, ability to print web pages, and photos from memory card; but you will have to bear with its noisy operation, and mediocre copying quality.
