IBM Introduces Mid-Volume Thermal and RFID Printing Solution

IBMThe Infoprint 6700 M40 printer is the latest member of the IBM Infoprint family. It is designed for small, medium sized and large businesses that require reliability, media flexibility, barcode support and up gradation to RFID technology. The M40 control unit can handle many industry standard thermal data streams, enabling customers to consolidate multiple printers with a single device and reduce operational costs.

- Prints up to 10 inches per second (ips) (254 mm per second) in 4-inch width at up to 305 dpi resolution.
- Flexible options including RFID capability.
- Enables remote printer management and proactive alert notification using IBM’s Printer Management Utility and Ethernet option.
