Kodak is perhaps one of the few printers that is making progress steadily since its inception. The company’s latest product, the ESP 3250 all in one printer is a success since it hit the stands earlier last year. The printer can print, scan and copy, and all the three are major functions. The secret to its popularity is its low cost high quality pigment Kodak ESP 3250 printer cartridges.
Staying on the cartridge topic, the printer leverages on two cartridge system which is perhaps not the most economical of them all. If they are achieving low cost with this system, imagine what they could do with individual cartridges?
The printer can work sans PC pretty well. It has a 1.5″ LCD screen to view images before printing and to navigate through the menu. Memory card readers don’t require the PC as well for its operation.
The saving on this printer does not stop with the cost of ink cartridges alone. The printer offers default two side printing and also, a software provided on the CD is capable of shrinking multiple pages onto a single sheet. This is a nice feature to have to print draft quality one time use prints.
The printer itself is not an expensive one, and costs around £90 including VAT.
