Kodak, the king of photography and the claimant of cheap prints has introduced a printer, Kodak ESP 5 aimed at families and homes. Kodak has a good record of Easyshare 5100 and 5300 being big hits in the SOHO market while ESP 3 which was released earlier this year, is gaining popularity with home users.
ESP 5 with a unique concave black panel in the front section boasts of a 3” LCD screen. This all-in-one printer is capable of printing wireless with Bluetooth technology.
The ESP 5 has a printing speed of 30ppm for black and 29ppm for colour. It spits out 4” X 6” borderless photos every 30 seconds.
On a graph displayed on the Kodak website, the company claims that the prints by Kodak are a third when compared to other standard inkjet printers. This is great news as we all know that rainbow gold is more expensive than petrol and diesel. Staying with prices, the printer itself costs £89 including VAT.
