Kodak Launches an Application for iPhone Too

Kodak has followed Canon’s path in launching an iPhone application that is programmed to display images and print it wirelessly to Kodak printers and feed Kodak digital frames. Great marketing technique!

The application christened KODAK Pic Flick App works on iPhones and iPod touches and allows users to upload to images to KODAK W1020 Wireless Digital Frame or print them wirelessly on the KODAK ESP 5250.

Randy Brody, Vice-President of Marketing Inkjet Systems, Eastman Kodak Company said – “The KODAK Pic Flick App provides a fast, easy and fun way to print, display and share within seconds of capturing a moment at home or away from home. Consumers can simply upload pictures to a nearby KODAK W1020 Wireless Digital Frame or send them to the KODAK ESP 5250 AiO Printer using their Apple iPhone or iPod touch.”

The application can be downloaded for free from Kodak’s app store. It has a basic requirement of OS version 2.2 and above.

The Kodak ESP 5250 is the company’s latest offering and it offers the lowest price printer ink cartridges in the market.
