Lexmark Ties Up with Computer 2000

LexmarkPrinter manufacturer Lexmark has tied up with Computer 2000 to take care of distribution of its products across UK and Ireland. Lexmark is a major printer manufacturer in the US and is yet to make a mark in a big way in the UK and Ireland.

Experts have termed the deal as strategic for both Lexmark and Computer 2K. C2K is a well established distributor in the UK with over 10,000 resellers and over 30,000 product line items. On the other hand, C2000 was exploring options to get into home and small business printing and imaging market and this tie-up provides a good opportunity to achieve their goal.

Marcus Harvey, UK director of C2000 said – “This is a strategically important agreement for Lexmark in the UK,”

Computer 2000“Computer 2000’s specific focus on the printer market, aligned with its considerable logistical capabilities and ability to reach the entire channel, will enable Lexmark to maximise its growth potential in the UK and deliver more choice, availability and opportunity for resellers to generate maximum revenue.”
