Lexmark X9350 : Office Printer with Loads of Features

Lexmark has upped the ante for office printers with automatic duplex printing on their latest inkjet printer, X9350 Office All-in-One. The printer is multi-function printer that can scan, copy and fax along with document and photo printing. It’s targetted mainly at small office and home office (SOHO) environments.

The printer leverages upon the new Lexmark patented Evercolor 2 pigmented inks. The technology behind the printer engine is thermal based and it can churn out a best resolution of 4800 X 1200 dpi. This Lexmark printer has two ink cartridges, black and the colour. The Lexmark colour ink cartridge consists of cyan, magenta and yellow colours embedded in them. Optionally, another photo cartridge can be added on for lab quality photo prints.

Print speed at normal mode is average at 11ppm for monochrome and 5ppm for colour. We assume that the speed of printing halves with duplex printing as there is no word on it from the manufacturer.

Connectivity options are aplenty on this Lexmark printer. Homes can leverage upon USB for a standalone printer and on Wi-Fi for uncluttered environments. Offices can hook it onto networks through the Ethernet port. For using the printer in a standalone mode, there is a PictBridge port for printing directly off cameras and memory card readers for PC-free running.

The printer is currently available in the market and carries a price tag of £125.
