Lexmark X9575 for Professional Environments
Lexmark has launched a new multi-function inkjet printer for larger workgroups and enterprises. The X9575 is termed as a professional laser printer that can additionally scan, copy and fax. The manufacturer also claims that the printer can produce good photo outputs as well.
The printer can print at a best resolution of 4800 X 2400 dpi while the best scanning resolution is at 4800 X 1200 dpi. The fax machine has a 33.6Kbps modem integrated with it and can beam monochrome and colour faxes. Copier has the capacity to enlarge originals up to 400%.
X9575 connects to standalone systems through the USB port and to networks via Ethernet for wired networks and via Wi-Fi for wireless networks.
Printing speed is top class at 33 pages per minute for monochrome prints and 28 pages per minute for colour prints.
The printer is as photo-centric as any printer can get. It boasts of a 2.5″ LCD screen for viewing images and editing them before printing. It comes with a PictBridge port for directing printing from digital cameras and memory card readers as well. Additionally, direct printing is possible through USB drives as well.
The Lexmark X9575 comes at a premium price of £200 but there are some bargain websites on the web who seem to be selling the same product at half the price.
