One of the leading social networking sites, MySpace’s content will now be friendlier for printing; but will weild a HP logo on all print previews. This will providers users a chance to print the photo sections, personal profiles, blog entries, comments and messages stored on their MySpace profiles ,and share them offline with the near and dear ones.
A HP print button is placed on MySpace pages which can be used by users to preview photos and other content for printing the content directly from the web. Any content on this website is expected to be printer friendly, as per the agreement signed by the two companies.
MySpace is a leading social networking website with over 120,000 million users worldwide. Recently, they surpassed Yahoo for the number of ads displayed online.
This partnership is set to take off sometime in November.
“By bringing the power of print to MySpace users, we intend to unlock content from user profiles, friends’ comments, and photos that were previously only viewable online,” said Vyomesh Joshi, executive vice president of the Imaging and Printing Group at HP. “Ultimately, HP intends to enable MySpace users to experience their content and tell their stories in a whole new way.”
