Three of the four printers launched carry office centric features, while a single function photo printer meant for homes was also released. In it’s press statement, Canon states that the launched printers, PIXMA are sleek and well designed to double up as show pieces as well.

The single function photo printer is PIXMA iP270. Print quality from this printer is equivalent to the ones we get from labs. Speed is average for a 4″ X 6″ sized postcard sized prints at 56 seconds.

PIXMA MX870 is a high end office multi-function printer. It comes with wired and wireless network options. Print speeds are OK at 9.2 pages per minute for black and 6.1 pages per minute for colour. Automatic duplex printing feature is also available on it.
