New Version of PoGo in Pipeline

by Abhinav Kaiser on August 12, 2008

Polaroid has sent out vibes that they are looking forward to launch a new PoGo for paper sizes greater than the current 2” X 3”. The company has initiated a survey on a popular photography website requesting feedback/suggestions from photographers to help them model a new printer targeted at professional and business customers.

The new PoGo in pipeline is capable of spitting out 4” X 3” sized prints. A piece of history connects Polaroid with 4” X 3” sized prints through its traditional instant film camera which is currently discontinued.

A survey has been initiated asking photographers to suggest features that they would like to see on the proposed printer. Polaroid would like to gather opinions on potential features such as pixel count, print quality and the battery’s print capacity. The best suggestion will win a trip to New York and VIP tickets to the Museum of Modern Art. Survey participants also have a chance to win one of 100 Polaroid PoGo printers or one of 50 Polaroid Digital Frames (black gloss 8in models).

As per experts, the new PoGo printer should be released sometime in the second quarter of 2009.

The survey closes on 31st of August 2008. If you have any suggestions for Polaroid to incorporate on PoGo, shoot it now.
