Noritsu, a Japanese printer manufacturer has launched a professional photo printer, D502 meant for photo retailers for mass producing photographs, photobooks, calendars and greeting cards. The printer was displayed at Photokina last month.
The printer leverages upon Piezo printing technology, and uses proprietary dye ink and gradation control over a range of 6 gradations to produce high quality prints. The printer can print at a best resolution of 720dpi and on paper.
In fact, the D502 is the first inkjet printer in the market that offers duplex printing.
Printing speed is truly professional at 510 4” X 6” photos an hour. It can produce 190 duplex pages an hour.
Alison Hughes, marketing executive of Noritsu UK, said: “Being able to offer a wealth of new services will attract new customers and make it possible to upsell to existing customers.”
