Prinics, a South Korean company has launched a digital photo frame which is capable to delivering photo prints in various sizes. Grand! The concept of sharing photos has just gone one step ahead (or behind) from digital prints to physical prints.
The Prinics photo frame has an 8” LCD screen to display photos. It can print photos in six different international standards - 5×7 cm, 5×5 (passport), 5×4, 3.5×4.5, 3×4 and 2.5×3 cm. It can also print 6” X 4” borderless photos.
This Prinics patented technology consists of a single cartridge grafted into the photo frame. The photo frame throws up messages when cartridge needs replacement and during other maintenance activities. The photo frame is capable of holding enough paper to take twelve 6” X 4” photos.
The camera supports standard CF memory cards and is capable of communicating in ten languages - English, French, German, Korean, Portuguese, Holland, Italian, Spanish, Russian and Greek.
This concept is very neat and we had discussed about it earlier. If a guest at your house likes the photograph displayed on the photo frame, you could probably just make him/her happy by taking a print and handing over instantly. You can avoid sharing original digital copies as well.
