THE NEWS IN PRINT

If you are a regular reader of Cartridge Save News blog, you would have probably read plenty of articles on photo printing. Photo printing isn’t a favourite topic of ours, but the current printing language of the world. Every Tom, Dick and Harry has a photo printer at home; maybe its time to bade goodbye to traditional photo labs. Well, not really. Innovatronix has a product that could save several photo labs and could increase options for other vendors.

EVO3-CSI is a digital printing kiosk which could be set up in a store or a in a mall which allows customers to print their own digital photos. The printing cost is estimated to be cheaper than personal photo printers due to the continuous ink flow system. It can print up to 200 prints per hour and can print multiple copies of selected pictures in one processing.

The EVO3 comes in a fully engineered machine that can print photos into wallet sizes, 3R and 4R paper sizes. It can accept a variety of media storage devices like multimedia cards, secure digital cards, compact flash cards, smart media cards, DVDs and CDs, and images from camera phones through Bluetooth and Infrared.

Getting digital prints from these stations could be economical for people who don’t print a lot of photos on a regular basis. Also, garages and other fast food stations could always invest in this kiosk just like any other vending machine. The commercialization of digital photo printing had already begun and digital station is fine tuning it.
