InfoPrint Solutions Company, a joint venture between IBM and Ricoh has announced the arrival of new performance workgroup colour laser printers and multi-function printers for firms. These printers are aimed at improving the printing efficiency and the prices are claimed to be reasonable.

These are the printers that were released recently:

-- The InfoPrint Color 1767 - boasting high speeds to boost large workgroup performance, bringing professional finishing options and time savings to in-house teams.
-- The InfoPrint Color 1764 - with powerful speed, proven reliability, and the ability to add vivid color on demand, the InfoPrint Color 1764 enables entire workgroups to generate dynamic documents. It has an M40 MFP option which transforms it into a business productivity center with the power to scan, copy, fax, and e-mail documents from one station.
-- InfoPrint Color 1764 MFP - an out-of-the-box productivity center, that allows users to scan, copy, fax, and e-mail documents in vivid color via a single intuitive interface, with copy-center level finishing options, such as the StapleSmart finisher and media banner tray.
-- The InfoPrint Color 1754 Express - a high performance printer that makes it easy to achieve a professional look and feel at an affordable price.

All these printers are designed to integrate with tools such as intuitive operator panel that guides users through printing and maintenance tasks.

These printers have good printing speeds up to 45ppm for black and the colour speed varies according to the model. The printing costs can be managed on an integrated panel by providing print permissions of monochrome to certain users and colour to certain other users.

The InfoPrint 1767, InfoPrint 1764 MFP, InfoPrint 1764 M40 and InfoPrint 1754 Express are now available in the whole of Europe.
