Ricoh Launches Four New Products for Small and Medium Offices
Ricoh Corporation has unveiled four new printers earlier this week for the small and medium office environment. The launched printers include, the Aficio SP C231SF/SP C232SF – colour multi-function printers and Aficio SP C311N/SP C312DN – colour laser printers. The manufacturer claims that the total cost of ownership will be at an all time low with these printers.
The colour multi-function printers offer a best printing resolution of 2400 X 600 dpi. Printing speeds for both monochrome and colour is fair at 21 pages per minute. Connectivity options are multiple as well with USB 2.0 for standalone systems and Ethernet for networks. An optional Wi-Fi option is also available. These printers come with automatic duplex printing and automatic document feeder.
The colour laser printers offer similar printing resolutions as that of former at 2400 X 600 dpi. Printing speeds are better at 26 pages per minute for both monochrome and colour. Warm-up time is around 30 seconds and the first print out emerges after 14 seconds, which is not user-friendly anymore, other manufacturers such as HP offer instant-on technology that practically prints as soon as it’s turned on.
Matt Sakauchi, vice president of the Office Printer Business Group (OPBG), Ricoh Corporation said – “With the introduction of the Aficio SP C231SF/SP C232SF and the Aficio SP C311N/SP C312DN, we are providing customers with intuitive technologies in a compact package that lower a business’s cost of operations. With the ability to handle almost any document need, these are some of the most affordable desktop color MFPs and printers available on the market.”
The colour multi-function printers, Ricoh Aficio SP C232SF carries a price tag of £500 and the SP C312DN is priced at £550. The Aficio SP C231SF and SP C311N are both tagged at £450.
