Samsung ML-2855ND : Monochrome Laser Printer
Samsung has the knack to pull out different rabbits out of the hat every time they come out with a product. Earlier, it was their piano shaped monochrome lasers and now, we have a star studded ultra-modern printer in ML-2855ND.
The printer has a small footprint at 15.39″ x 14.52″ x 8.54″ and can practically sit at any corner in your office. It is not clothed in the boring white/off-white nor as flashy as their earlier matte black models, but it carries a professional look with light grey shade.
Samsung touts that the new printer saves as much as 30% of your printing costs; which necessarily means that procurement of laser toners will also be as infrequent as the current scenario.
Printing speed is grand at 30 pages per minute, thanks to the in-built 400 MHz processor and 64 MB memory.
Total paper capacity of the printer is 550 sheets which includes a 250-sheet cassette, 50-sheet multipurpose tray and an optional 250-sheet cassette. This one is a work-horse at 50,000-page monthly duty cycle.
The Samsung ML-2855ND monochrome laser printer is available in the retail market and also through Samsung’s online outlet. It is expected to cost around £145 inclusive of VAT.
