Samsung Presents SCX-4500W, a Sleek Stylish Wireless Laser Printer
Samsung Corporation’s one of the latest printers, SCX-4500W, is probably one of the best looking printers in the recent times. It’s a multi-function laser printer that can scan and copy along with printing. Moreover, it wears a modern black glossy look that many other printers would definitely envy of.
It’s physical characteristics are probably more attractive than what’s in it. It’s stylish and more importantly sleek, which makes it invaluable as a space saver. The body does not bear any controls on it and the presence of blue LEDs makes it look elegant.
Printing resolution is above standard at 1200 x 1200 dpi. Printing speed is decent at 16 pages per minute for both monochrome and colour for A4 sized prints. The printer requires around 15 seconds to spit out the first print, which is quite normal for laser printers.
SCX-4500W is network ready with Ethernet for wired networks and Wi-Fi on wireless networks. It can also hook onto standalone systems through the USB port.
This black printer has some features to make our eco-friends happy as well. The company claims that the noise levels produced by the printer is under 45 dBA during normal operation. Secondly, the printer is energy star compliant, which simply means that it consumes less energy to run. Samsung toner lasts for around 2000 standard pages.
The Samsung SCX-4500W carries a price tag of £210.
