Second Generation PoGo Launched at CES

World’s most popular ultra-mobile printer, PoGo has officially launched its second version of ultra mobile printer at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. This launch is a second collaboration between Polaroid and Zink Corporation since the first generation PoGos.

The new PoGo referred to as Polaroid PoGo Instant Digital Camera is multi-functional now; it not only prints, but also takes snaps. The new product has doubled up as a digital camera from its previous release.

The new PoGo has a 3” LCD screen, built-in fun borders and a dedicated print button. It weighs ten pounds and measures 4.7” X 3”.

Lindsay Kelson, Polaroid’s UK marketing manager said – “With the push of a button consumers can select from among the digital photos on camera, crop or edit them in less than 60 seconds and print full-colour prints”.

The new printer was touted to be released before Christmas but now the dates have moved until April/May this year. The company is yet to estimate a price on the product for its UK customers blaming the currency fluctuations. The company has put a price on the product across Europe at €249.
