Canon has released two portable photo printers this month. They have come out with Selphy CP740 and CP750 printers. Both are A5 photo printers and look like Mac mini’s older brother.
Both printers can be used directly used with memory cards, digital cameras or camcorders. They offer red eye correction. The CP740 has a 2” LCD screen compared to the 2.4” inch screen on the CP750. They have an optional Bluetooth adapter which is used for printing pictures from cell phones.
The CP750 comes with an optional battery pack for on-the-go printing. It also comes with an inbuilt photography program which is capable of resizing photographs and applying various effects.
Along with the shrinking size comes the exorbitant prices. The CP740 is priced at £79 while the CP750 is £139. A whopping £60 price difference is just a little too pricy for a few paltry features. My money is on CP740. Good features and more importantly reasonably priced.
