In a bid to feed HP’s imaging and printing arm, Snapfish has been upgraded with an enhancement to its photo books tool. The enhancement code named Magic will help users create photo books in a snap.
The new Magic addition will suggest users with various layouts and customize the layouts automatically as desired. The tool will change the image size to fit the layout and this honestly, will make the users happy with elegant looking photo books.
Snapfish is a nice marketing concept for HP. The tool is free and what’s the reason for existance for a photo book if you don’t print it. When the question of print arises, HP steps in and is ready to take over the mantle. The better the tool is, more the prints and hence an increase in HP’s revenue. Neat!
Along with the magic, HP has added the following enhancements as well:
* A Facebook app that allows Facebook users to print photos directly from their Facebook photo albums at Snapfish.com;
* Snapfish Express Upload, for faster web-based, high-resolution uploading;
* A Snapfish app available through the Apple App Store for easy uploading and sharing from iPhones or iPods;
* An Apple iPhoto plug-in for Mac users to upload photos directly from their desktops; and
* One-touch access to Snapfish via the new HP Photosmart Premium All-in-One.
