Talk about an integration of a digital camera and Zink technology based inkless PoGo camera, you get a new kind of multi-function printer that does not scan images nor copy them, but instead, take pictures. Japan based Tomy has announced the arrival of Xiao TIP-521, a new 5MP camera that comes with an inbuilt camera.

The Xiao integrated printer is built on inkless Zink technology. The printer offers 2” X 3” full prints in less than a minute. The best printing resolution is 313 X 313 dpi.

The 5MP camera comes with a 2.48” LCD screen and a 39mm equivalent fixed focal length lens F3. It comes with 16MB internal memory and has a SD/SDHC memory card slot for hooking extra memory. Like most other digital cameras, it offers 4X digital zoom.

This multi-function printer will be released in Japan on the 28th of November and is estimated to cost around £150. Now, that’s a steal!
