The Samsung Galaxy range can also print directly to printer. My phone has been doing this effortlessly to a HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus with fantastic results – so not exclusive to the iPhone.

    Great article though!

I have just bought the Epson XP312. At the moment my ‘wifi’ printer is plugged in and connected to my PC by a USB lead and is printing from my PC the same as my 2 other printers! But I bought this one as it says that it is compatable with air printing but when I try to print off my iPad or iPhone it says that it cannot find an air printer although I am actually sitting next to it!!! Am I ever going to make this work? I read the bumph which tells me I can use this printer with my iPad from miles away…….how is that ever going to be possible when I cannot print wifi in the same room with everything switched on! Very frustrated
    Regards
    Veronica
