Xerox Launches Phaser 3300MFP and WorkCentre 4260MFP
Printing major Xerox has launched two new printers aimed at small and medium-sized businesses, Phaser 3300MFP and WorkCentre 4260MFP. The former is an A4 multi-function printer that can carry out printing, scanning, copying and faxing activities. The latter is an A3 multi-function printer that can carry out all the activities that 3300MFP does.
3300MFP is a compact office printer that prints at a speed of 30ppm.
Scans from this printer can be stored directly onto a USB drive, emailed or stored on the network. Similarly, documents can be printed off the USB drive bypassing the PC.
The bigger Workcentre 4260MFP is a higher capacity printer that can print, copy, scan and fax. If a print job on this printer is held up due to various reasons, other print jobs in the queue will continue without interruption by the Print Around feature. Printing speed is attractive at 55ppm.
There is a touch of photo printer to this product. It’s mounted with a 7” LCD screen which is quite rare in this segment.
Yet another interesting feature on 4260MFP is the Fax Forward to E-mail feature which automatically forwards incoming faxes to a provided email address, thus saving paper and toner.
The A4 printer, Phaser 3300MFP carries a price tag of £416 while the WorkCentre 4260MFP starts from £2360.
