Xerox Launches Phaser 6280V/DN
Xerox has launched a new laser product in Phaser 6280V/DN. This printer prints in both black and colour and is definitely not a multi-function printer, just to break the trend.
The printer offers a best resolution of 600 X 600 X 4 dpi which is perhaps the best possible resolution for an office / home laser printer as of the time of writing.
Printing speed is grand at 30 pages per minute for monochrome and 25 pages per minute for colour. This is facilitated by a 256MB RAM mounted in the system.
The Phaser 6280V/DN comes with a standard 250 page tray along with a 150 page multi-purpose tray.
Connectivites to the printer is through USB for standalone systems and through Ethernet for hooking the printer onto networks.
Other features include automatic duplex printing and capability to print in PS3 – PCL6/PCL5E.
The Xerox Phaser 6280V/DN carries a suggested retail price of £539 exclusive of VAT.
