Xerox WorkCentre 3220/DN : 4-in-1 Printer
Earlier this year, Xerox launched a new printer aimed at offices; WorkCentre 3220/DN. This laser printer can copy, scan and fax along with basic document printing. It does not print in colour, for a change.
Best resolution possible is 1200 X 1200 dpi and the speed of printing is grand at 30 pages per minute in default mode. This is a nice combination of print resolution and print speed. If the cost per print happens to be low, then Xerox can probably consider that all its ducks are in a row.
The once/still the copier giant has set a teasing price tag of £300 for the printer. Some reviewers who have had their hands on the WorkCentre 3220/DN put a price of 1.5p per print. If this is considered to be accurate, Xerox may have just pulled the right one.
The feature of the day, automatic duplex printing is very much present and so is the capability to network. With an input paper capacity of 250 pages and a monthly duty cycle of 50,000 pages, this laser printer might just be an ideal one for offices, big and small.
