that is absorbed by the printer paper, the better your printing will look.
The better inkjet printer papers are manufactured with smoother surfaces and
coated with a waxy substance that prevents the ink from being absorbed by the
paper. Well coated paper also allows smoother printing. Generally, most of the
printers print at a higher resolution on coated paper than on standard paper.
Hence, while choosing the printer paper it is important to examine sample of the
paper you are buying. If possible take a trial printing on the sample paper and
see how it prints.
