Brother DCP 7010 see 1 answer

I have recently changed the toner cartridge and the image now printing has a shadow repeat of the text approx 7.5 cm below the proper text. Please advise what can be done. Is it the toner cartridge or the drum? The latter was purchasd from you 17/11/2011 and has run about 2000 copies. The cartridge was also purchased from you. I look forward to your help. Torben

How to remove the jammed paper?

  • There should be a manual with the printer which may have some instructions in. Check the covers on the printer where the jam is, you should be able to remove the paper.

The Brother DCP-7010 is a multifunction printer with the ability to scan, print, and copy. It can easily be adapted to a busy office or small business setting with speeds that reach 20 pages per minute when printing. Copies are made in a maximum resolution of 600 x 300 dpi and documents can be enlarged by up to 400 per cent. Printed documents have a resolution of up to 2,400 x 600 dpi. Documents are scanned using an interpolated resolution of 9,600 x 9,600 dpi. This printer also can reproduce up to 256 different grey tones and will print sharp texts consistently. Furthermore, standard Brother DCP-7010 toner is high-yield and can produce up to 2,500 pages per cartridge before needing replacement although higher capacity Brother DCP-7010 toner is available with a 5,000 page yield.

Design

Designed to be compact, the DCP-7010 does not take up much office space and has dimensions of 43.2 cm in width, 39.5 cm in depth, and 25.3 cm in height. The Brother DCP-7010 is lightweight at total weight of 8.3 kg without paper. This printer also supports printing on envelopes, plain paper, labels, recycled paper, and transparencies.
