Brother MFC-7420 toner cartridges 

The Brother MFC-7420 is a laser monochrome printer that can print at speeds of up to 20 pages per minute. This multifunction printer that can copy, scan, print, and fax. It is fast enough to keep pace with a busy office or it can be used by a small organisation that requires high-volume output. Scanning is done at an interpolated resolution of 9,600 x 9,600 dpi using 24-bit colour depth. The fax machine is G3 compatible and has a transmission rate of 14.4 Kbps. Copying can also be done and speeds of up to 20 pages per minute are possible.

Design

This printer takes up very little room and requires only minimal space for placement. It has trim dimensions of 43.18 cm in width, 29.46 cm in height, and 39.62 cm in depth. The Brother MFC-7420 is also very manageable in terms of weight at only 9.48 kg. Two types of connections are available for this printer - USB or a parallel connection. In addition, the Brother MFC-7420 can be installed on Apple Mac OS 9.1 or later, Windows ME, Windows 98, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0, and Apple OS X. Brother MFC-7420 toner is manufactured using technology that makes printing faster and less wasteful, which is good news for your wallet and the planet. A 250 sheet input tray is standard with this printer. An output tray is also available and has a capacity of 100 sheets.

Advantages

During standard operation, the Brother MFC-7420 uses 460 watts of energy while in standby mode it uses 75 watts and can reduce its power consumption even more during sleep mode where it draws only 10 watts of energy. Disadvantages

The Brother MFC-7420 is a relatively high-priced machine, one of the only downsides other than its lack of colour printing. Another disadvantage that should be mentioned is this printer cannot be installed on Linux operating systems.
