The Brother MFC-8860DN is a great multifunction printer that is able to reach print speeds of up to 28 pages per minute and will accommodate the needs of a busy office or a small business. It is a laser monochrome printer that will easily produce a sharp document in a resolution of up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi. Scanning can be done at an optical resolution of up to 600 x 2,400 dpi and at an interpolated resolution of 19,200 x 19,200 dpi. Copying speeds are are also fast at a rate of 28 pages per minute and are high-quality at a resolution of 1,200 x 600 dpi. Faxes can be sent in a maximum transmission speed of up to 33.6 Kbps. In addition, this printer features a 600 page memory capacity and Super G3 compatibility.

Design

The Brother MFC-8860DN printer's size is not small but it is not over-sized either. In fact, with dimensions of 53.1 cm in width, 45 cm in depth, and a height of 47.5 cm, the Brother MFC-8860DN will fit virtually anywhere. At a manageable weight of 16.7 kg, this printer will not be a difficult to lift. The Brother MFC-8860DN is designed with a 250 sheet input tray that is coupled with a 150 sheet output tray.
