The all-in-one Brother MFC-9840 CDW is an economical solution for average office printing needs. This printer not only produces crisp documents but also acts as a fast fax machine, a scanner, and a copier.

Design

Weighing 83 pounds, the Brother MFC-9840 CDW is a solid printer that measures 20.9” x 21” x 20.5”. The flatbed and control panel is on top. Maximum printing speed is 21 ppm for both coloured and black and white prints. The scanner has a maximum optical resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi.

Advantages

Save money and reduce paper waste with the automatic duplexer - a feature that can be used not only for printing but also for scanning, copying, and faxing. The Brother MFC-9840 CDW is suitable for workplaces with multiple computers as it has a built-in networking system. It is compatible with both Windows and Macintosh systems. The Brother MFC-9840 CDW features a USB direct interface that enables direct printing.

Disadvantages

This printer is cheaper than its competitors, and that’s largely because it lacks basic features such as memory card slots and a large LCD screen. Replacement inks and toners are also cheaper.
