Brother MFC-9970CDW toner cartridges 

Producing high-resolution colour prints, the Brother MFC-9970CDW all-in-one combines the functions of a quality printer, copier, scanner, and fax machine in one compact device. Workgroups can increase productivity with the Brother MFC-9970CDW’s fast copy and print speeds of up to 30ppm. This flagship model in the multifunction series boasts automatic duplex printing, copying, scanning, and faxing of pages. Issues include paper curling, which can be quite annoying. Also, scanned images cannot be renamed.

Design

The Brother MFC-9970CDW features a 5” colour touch screen display that allows trouble-free navigation and selection of menu functions. It is WiFi-enabled and comes with USB and Ethernet interfaces. The paper tray has an 800-sheet capacity, expandable with the addition of an optional legal paper tray.

Advantages

The Brother MFC-9970CDW all-in-one boasts high quality and fast colour output, and allows two-sided printing. The auto document feeder also enables the Brother MFC-9970CDW to copy, fax and scan both sides of the paper/document. Optional high-yield replacement cartridges are available to reduce operating costs. Faxing is also quick with the Brother MFC-9970CDW’s 33.6 Kbps fax modem.

Disadvantages

The Brother MFC-9970CDW isn’t without flaw. Paper curling is a common complaint, and handling smaller media (like envelopes) can be troublesome. Black and white print quality is superb, but colour printing is average. Scanned documents are also stored in a single filename, which can’t be renamed for organization.
