The Brother MFC-L2740DW professional mono laser all-in-one + Wi-Fi and wired may be small but it has excellent features including an advanced duplexer. This unit also has quick print and copy speeds and offers affordable running costs. With standard networking connectivity, the Brother MFC-L2740DW all-in-one printer can be shared by multiple users. The maximum monthly duty cycle is 10,000 pages. This all-in-one could be better if it provided a USB host and a larger LCD display.

Design

The space-saving Brother MFC-L2740DW black and white multifunction printer has a paper handling capacity of 250 sheets. It also has a 35-sheet automatic document feeder on top of its flatbed scanner. The control panel on the MFC-L2740DW laser multifunction printer comes with a 2.7-inch touchscreen display along with a numeric keypad and function buttons. The fax machine has a 33.6kbps modem and it comes with a fax and telephone switch. For connectivity, Wi-Fi as well as USB and Ethernet interfaces are available.

Advantages

With the advanced duplexer, two-sided printing as well as two-sided faxing, copying and scanning can be done. The Brother MFCL2740DW Wi-Fi and wired printer is well-connected making it ideal for small workgroups. What’s more, it supports mobile device scanning and printing. Scan to different locations can be done and the Brother MFCL2740DW printer has excellent functions like Blank Page Skip and ID scan. The MFC L2740DW wireless multifunction printer has a quick print and copy speed of 32ppm for monochrome and fax transmission speed of 2.5 seconds per page.

Disadvantages

The all-in-one Brother MFC L2740DW monochrome laser printer doesn’t offer a USB host for thumb drives. It also has limited memory and paper handling capacity. The standard touchscreen display on the MFCL2740DW MFP printer is too miniscule for some users.
