Our Verdict:  

Canon LaserShot LBP-1120 toner cartridges 

The Canon LaserShot LBP-1120 was designed to fit onto the corner of a desk and make a few quiet prints a day, which is exactly what it does. The frills have all been stripped from this machine down to a basic monochrome laser printer. There are a few pros and cons on the LaserShot LBP-1120, but overall it serves its purpose very well.

Design

The sleek curved appearance of this printer gives it a slightly different look and feel compared to other models in the price range. It is hardly larger than a stack of papers, making it perfect for the small office or desk. There is a 125 sheet paper input tray along the back and a 50 sheet output paper tray on the front of the machine. While there is no Ethernet port, the USB port is situated just to the right of the output tray and the power cable is located at the back. There is a single power light with no LCD display as all information can be accessed through the provided software. The Canon LBP-1120 toner cartridges an be accessed through a hatch at the top of the machine. Changing your Canon LBP-1120 toner is no big deal, taking no real effort.

Advantages

This printer can produce a decent print at 600 dpi and about ten pages per minute. It is incredibly easy to use and takes only a few moments to clear out paper jams or replace the Canon LBP-1120 toner cartridges. One of the nicest features is how extremely quiet this printer works, perfect for a cramped office area.

Disadvantages

The first problem comes down to compatibility. This printer does not support any computers running on Mac OS X as the software is designed exclusively for Windows. It also does not support colour applications or work very well with in-depth graphics. The paper tray holds an awkward 125 sheets and any home office or small business that requires that amount or more is best off buying an improved model that can accommodate more paper.
