The Canon range has been slightly overshadowed by the highly impressive Hewlett-Packard Photosmart collection in recent years, but anything that Hewlett-Packard can do, Canon are certainly looking to match in any way that they can. The Canon PC-700 is a distant cousin of the Photosmart range as although it uses toner instead of ink, it still offers many of the same features, but can it match up to the well-respected competition?
Design
The Canon PC-700 copier hardly reinvents the wheel, but there are many benefits hidden underneath the simple, silver exterior of the PC700. If the truth be told, the Canon PC-700 printer does not possess the same amount of style as many of the Photosmart printers, but in terms of actual design, it does boast a very useful user interface.
Advantages
Looking past the Canon PC-700 personal copier and its subtle exterior, there are many benefits which an owner of the Canon PC700 can look forward to enjoying. It sounds obvious, but the Canon PC 700 really does offer some fine results in terms of print outs. Text documents are sharp and precise while the compact design ensures that the PC700 is a great little printer for the home user.
Disadvantages
Picking fault with a printer of this quality seems a little harsh, but it's our job. Then again, there isn't really much to complain about where the Canon PC-700 copier is concerned. If we were forced to find issue, perhaps the only let down for owners of the Canon PC-700 is the fact that it isn't much to look at, but that hardly matters when the results are this impressive.
