Our Verdict:
The Dell 2135cn is a multifunctional colour laser printer capable of faxing, copying, printing, and scanning. Highlights of this system include: high-volume print capacity, 600 x 600 dpi resolution, and printing speeds of up to 16 pages per minute for monochrome and 12 pages per minute for colour. The 2135cn is powered by a 400 Mhz processor and 128 MB of standard memory. The fax capabilities of the Dell 2135cn are G3 compatible with max transmission speeds of up to 33.6 Kbps. Optical scan resolution reaches upwards of 1,200 x 1,200 dpi while interpolated resolution tops out at 9,600 x 9,600 dpi. Portability options for the Dell 2135cn include Hi-Speed USB and Ethernet 10 Base-T/100 Base-TX making it fully networkable.
Design
The stylish, compact Dell 2135cn is jet black in colour and its modern look is perfect for any professional home office or front office work station. Its rather large frame, measuring out at 43.6cm wide by 49.7cm deep by 57.9cm high, weighs out at around 30 kg with fully stocked Dell 2135cn cartridges. The 2135cn is designed for large volume printing providing a monthly duty cycle of up to 40,000 pages and a 250 sheet standard paper input tray.
Advantages
