Dell, a worldwide technology solutions and service provider, introduced their colour laser printer the Dell 3010cn in 2007. It is an affordable printer that best suits the needs of small businesses and home offices. The Dell 3010cn is characterised by its user-friendly operation and good print quality for a printer model in its price range.
Design
The Dell 3010cn toner printer measures 43.2 cm by 42.4 cm by 42 cm and weighs 25.0 kilograms, allowing it to be readily set up on a table top or in the corner of an office. The printer can output at speeds of 5 pages per minute for colour prints and 12 pages per minute for black and white prints with a maximum resolution of 600 x 600 dpi. Its monthly duty cycle is 45,000 pages, which makes it perfect for its small business and home office market segment. The Dell 3010cn can output prints on plain paper, transparencies, and standard sized envelopes, and maximum paper size accepted is 21.6 cm x 35.6 cm. Dell 3010cn toner cartridges consist of four colours: black, cyan, magenta, and yellow. Other features to note include a built in automatic document feeder, manual feed paper tray, and networking capability via the included Ethernet adapter. Direct connections to a PC are also supported using its USB port. Configuration of the unit is accomplished via a 3-inch LCD display screen and push button controls.
