Epson AcuLaser 2600 toner cartridges 

The Epson AcuLaser 2600 is an excellent printer that is suitable for a small to medium size business that requires printing in speeds up to 30 pages per minute. This laser monochrome printer uses Epson AcuLaser Colour 2400 RIT technology to enhance images and allow resolutions of up to 600 x 600 dpi. It is even possible to have a black and white print out in 9.3 seconds from standby. Speed and print quality are what make this printer worth its reasonable price. Furthermore, the Epson AcuLaser 2600 incorporates a 350 MHz processor and 64 MB of RAM to handle print information and provide storage for multiple incoming prints.

Design

This printer is manufactured with compactness as a major aspect in its design. It has dimensions of 44.70 cm in width, 51.81 cm in depth, and a height of 42.41 cm. At a dry weight of 35.19 kg, this printer stays situated where it is placed and may require assistance when transporting. Epson 2600 toner is designed to print on up to 5,000 pages. The Epson 2600 toner cartridges use AcuBrite technology to produce a variety of grey scales and help improve edges in text documents. In addition, PC connection is set up using a parallel connection or a high-speed USB cable.

Advantages

The Epson AcuLaser 2600 also features optional duplex printing. Duplex printing gives the Epson 2600 the ability to print on both sides of a page and can decrease paper consumption. The Epson 2600 toner printer also has an expansion slot that will accommodate a memory upgrade of up to 512 MB. This printer uses an internal print server that allows it to be set up in a network. At a monthly duty cycle of 120,000 pages, the Epson AcuLaser 2600 can handle a massive workload that can only be achieved by printers in this class.

Disadvantages

Unfortunately, this printer operates at a loud emission level of 56 decibels and may not be practical for the home setting. This also lacks multifunction devices such as a scanner, copier or fax machine. However, the Epson AcuLaser 2600 is a productive printer that will produce crisp documents for any high-volume application.
