The HP Colour LaserJet 5500hdn offers the complete package, ideal for offices or small businesses in need of a high-capacity printer that can easily be networked. It features the same memory capacity as the DTN model (160 MB) but offers an additional 10 GB hard disk, along with the built in Ethernet port and print server, and the automatic duplexer. The HP Colour LaserJet 5500hdn is the ideal option for offices with an even more demanding printing routine, although it still offers the same print quality for black and colour outputs at 600x600 dpi.

Design

The HP Colour LaserJet 5500hdn is a bulky machine, weighing in at 236 lbs. it stands at approximately 25x28x39 inches, but may take more space with the additional 500-sheet paper tray. The HP 5500hdn laser printer has a 400MHz processor, which allows a fast first page out print speed of only 18 seconds. Potentially, the HP Colour LaserJet 5500hdn is a sound investment for busy offices, especially those with demanding print tasks.

Advantages

The greatest advantage of the HP Colour LaserJet 5500hdn is the additional 10 GB hard disk, which allows users to store more files for printing.
