The HP Colour LaserJet CP1217 is a great printer that is suitable for a home office or for a student. It uses both laser and colour toner to print and will produce 12 pages per minute for black and white prints. If using colour, prints can be delivered as fast at 8 pages per minute. To improve resolution, the HP Colour LaserJet CP1217 uses HP ImageREt 2400, advanced-precision toner, and HP edge-improvement technology. All of these innovations will improve resolution up to 600 x 600 dpi.

Design

This small printer is easy to handle and does not take up a large amount of space. This compact printer only takes up 25.4 cm in width, 39.9 cm in depth, and 45.2 cm in height. The HP CP1217 is also very portable at a weight of 17.59 kg. A high-speed 2.0 USB cord is the primary means of connection and installation requires just a few minutes of your time. An input tray that holds 150 sheets is matched up with an output tray that holds a maximum capacity of 125 sheets. In addition, HP CP1217 toner tends last you about 2,200 pages with the high-yield cartridges.

Advantages

The CP1217 also offers duplex printing as part of its standard package, giving users the privilege of printing double-sided on documents and helping to reduce unnecessary paper waste.
