The HP LaserJet 1015 is compact printer that will fit the needs of a small business or a student that requires black and white printing. The 1015 is a laser monochrome printer that will not hesitate to produce anything up to 15 pages per minute. A maximum resolution of 600 x 600 dpi is possible when printing and HP ImageREt 1200 is used to enhance images. Processing print information is done using a 133 MHz processor and 16 MB of memory. With this processing power, a monthly duty cycle of up to 7,000 impressions can be attained.
This printer is compact and leaves a small footprint wherever it is placed. It is small enough that it can even be placed on a bookshelf with dimensions of only 37.08 cm in width, 23.11 cm in depth, and 20.82 cm in height. It is easy to manage at a weight of only 5.89 kg. A USB cable makes connection quick and easy. Media is loaded into the printer using a 150 sheet auto-load input tray that is partnered with a 10 sheet multipurpose tray. HP 1015 toner also has a duty cycle of up to 2,000 pages before a replacement is needed and a high capacity HP 1015 toner is available offering 4,000 pages.
Versatile printing is a benefit of the HP 1015 which allows you to print on cards, postal card paper, labels, envelopes, transparencies, and plain paper. HP LaserJet 1015 toner is also extremely affordable, helping to keep your running costs at a minimum. This printer is also very energy-efficient and uses 214 watts of energy during operation. One of the disadvantages to this printer is its lack of networking hardware. In addition, the LaserJet 1015 does not include a scanner, copier, or fax machine. There are also no expansion slots for memory upgrades and page speed cannot be improved. Many users also find this printer to be very loud at an operating sound emission level of 57 decibels.
