Is the 49X cartridge just a higher volume unit and fits as 49A see 1 answer

  • That is correct, the HP 49X cartridge is compatible with the HP Laserjet 1320, it is just a high capacity toner cartridge and it should achieve over twice as many prints when compared to the 49A toner cartridge.

  • Unfortunately the HP Laserjet 1320 is a mono laser printer and only takes a black toner cartridge.

  • Unfortunately, we are currently unable to recycle toner cartridges. I recommend doing an internet search for toner cartridge recycling in your area or contact your local council as they may have recycling facilities.

HP LaserJet 1320 toner cartridges 

The HP LaserJet 1320 printer is an excellent business tool that is suitable for a small business or in your home as a personal printer. This laser monochrome printer is able to deliver up to 22 pages per minute and can complete a monthly duty cycle of up to 10,000 pages with a maximum resolution of 1,200 x 1,200 dpi. It prints rapidly and can have a printout completed in 8 seconds. To produce prints so quickly, the HP 1320 uses a Motorola ColdFire 4 133 MHz processor and 16 MB of RAM.

Design

This is a simple printer that comes in a two-tone design with a simple control panel and was designed with simplicity and compactness in mind. This printer is small and has dimensions of 35.05 cm in width, 35.56 cm in depth, and 25.40 cm in height. It is very manageable at a weight of 11.2 kilograms and hardly takes up any space on a desk. The HP LaserJet 1320 is available with a 250 sheet input tray and a 1 sheet multipurpose tray. In addition, the HP LaserJet 1320 has an output tray with a maximum capacity of 125 sheets. It's obvious that this printer has been designed with the average consumer in mind as replacing your HP 1320 toner is simple and uncomplicated.

Advantages

The HP 1320 also features duplex printing to help save paper and reduce waste and has the ability to print on bond paper, cards, recycled paper, index cards, plain paper, envelopes, labels, and transparencies. This printer also has a single memory expansion slot which will allow you to upgrade your printer's memory up to 144 MB of RAM. During operation it uses only 345 watts of energy and when it's in sleep mode, it only consumes 6 watts of electricity. Disadvantages

The major disadvantage of the HP LaserJet 1320 is its lack of scanner, copier, and fax machine. In addition, this printer is not set up to be used in a network.
