Changing the cartridge in my HP Laserjet P2035 printer see 1 answer

How do I change the print cartridge - I am not technologically minded - have difficulty following illustrations - need a step by step guide.

  • There should be installation instructions contained within the cartridge packaging. You should also find installation instructions in your printer manual. I have also attached a link below to the support page on the HP website for your reference:

The HP P2035 is a small and compact monochrome printer that is suitable for the office and for anyone who is looking for an economic and basic printer. The machine is part of HP's workgroup series, so it is designed to handle printing high volumes of documents. The printer comes with a standard volume HP P2035 toner cartridge, so once that initial one is used, replacing it with a high volume HP P2035 cartridge will yield a savings on the pages printed.

Design

The P2035 is a small printer that measures 14" by 15" by 10", so it is compact enough to fit in most small spaces. The printer is similar in looks to all other HP printers and is grey in colour. The feed tray is able to handle 300 sheets of paper. Connection can be made through a USB or parallel port and the print speed is approximately 30 pages per minute.

Advantages

The price of this model is significantly lower than other printers that are considered to be for workgroups, which alone makes it a desirable printer for the budget conscious. The large input tray is a nice feature for business printers as well. Not having to reload the printer when doing large print jobs is helpful. The resolution to the model is 1200 dpi, which is more than sufficient for printing of business text documents.

Disadvantages

One of the printer's biggest drawbacks is not able to do duplex printing. This may or may not be of concern and depends on the business who is using the P2035. The feed tray for envelopes is also known to be somewhat unreliable. For a company doing something such as a mail merge, this could prove to be a frustrating endeavour. Finally, this particular model is not equipped to be networked. Many companies have all of their printers networked, so the 2035n would be able to be connected through an ethernet cable. Finally, the print noise to this model is slightly louder than other comparable printers. However, for a small business that is looking for an inexpensive printer that can handle large volumes and be a standalone printer connected to one computer, the HP LaserJet P2035 is a decent choice.
