can the cartridges be refilled? or do we have to buy a new cartridge for printing every time it is emptied?

HP Laserjet P1505 toner cartridges 

The HP LaserJet P1505 is a printer that will excel in the office or in a small business setting. This laser monochrome printer can print up to 24 pages per minute and can produce a monthly duty cycle of 8,000 pages. This printer uses HP FastRes 1200 technology to enhance images and allows printing in a resolution of 1,200 by 1,200 dpi. It is also very quick and creates a printout in 6.5 seconds from standby. In addition, the HP LaserJet P1505 also uses a 266 MHz processor and 2 MB of RAM to handle print information.

Design

This printer is extremely portable and requires only a minimal amount of space to be placed on. The HP LaserJet P1505 has dimensions of 37.84 cm in width, 24.38 cm in depth, and a height of 22.60 cm. In addition, this printer has a weight of 5.89 kg. This printer is hooked up using a USB cable and installation is accomplished by inserting an installation disc. It comes equipped with a 250 sheet input tray that is accompanied by a 150 sheet output tray. The HP LaserJet P1505 is also capable of printing on postal card paper, photo paper, vellum paper, plain paper, labels, envelopes, and transparencies.

Disadvantages

You'll have to make do without a scanner, copier, or fax machine. The last downside to this printer is it does not come with the ability to print in colour. However, it does provide a fast and crisp black and white printout. If you are not looking to print in colour, the HP P1505 is very decent at its very reasonable price.
