The Kyocera FS-3040MFP+ printer is a solution for a busy medium-sized office that needs a speedy and versatile printer with efficient document management features. The Kyocera FS 3040+ laser multifunction printer offers time-saving options to improve productivity, while running costs are kept to a minimum because of low power consumption, but some users may find it to be expensive and intimidating to operate.
Design
This is a 25.5Kg multifunction printer measuring 545.1mm tall and 494mm wide. With a diameter that measures 497.1mm, it requires a bit more installation space for the paper trays. The Kyocera FS-3040 A4 mono laser MFP looks boxy but quite compact for a standard office table. It runs on standard 256MB of memory, which can be upgraded to 768MB, and prints using Kyocera Ecosys laser technology, at 1200x1200dpi. The control panel features a small display screen, while standard connectivity options are Ethernet, USB host, and high-speed USB 2.0.
Advantages
The Kyocera FS3040 multifunction printer is network-friendly and there are optional interfaces for a print server and a CompactFlash card. Users may scan directly to a USB host, FTP, or email using the Kyocera FS-3040MFP+. Colour scanning is supported by encrypted data transfer. Two-sided printing is a standard feature. The Kyocera FS-3040MFP+ is a fast printer with room for up to three paper input feeders to increase the media capacity to 2,100 sheets. Private print, IP sec, and SSL provide further security.
Disadvantages
