The Lexmark MX617de is a monochrome multifunction laser printer with the ability to print, scan, copy and fax up to A4 size. It is designed for use in a small office or work group where the reliable nature and fast printing and scanning speeds will increase efficiency. Security can be a concern in today’s modern world, but with the security features available on this printer, you can print sensitive documents with confidence. A number of eco-friendly features means that operating and energy costs are minimised with little wastage. While the quality of printing is good, it is limited to monochrome printing, so if colour printing is required you will need an additional printer.
Design
The classic grey coloured Lexmark MX617de has the dimensions 561 x 489 x 479 mm. On the front of the device is the control panel which includes a colour touch screen and a key pad. Paper storage is in a 550-sheet input tray and a 100-sheet manual paper feeder which can be increased by the purchase of additional trays. Print speeds are 47ppm, resolution is 1200 dpi and the monthly duty cycle is 175,000 pages. Connection is achieved from a USB or network interface although a wireless connection can be added if necessary.
