The Japanese technology company Oki is generally known for their sturdy machines built for simplicity and ease of use. Their 'C' class of printers were developed with compatibility and customisation in mind. The current base model for the small to medium business is the C5750 laser printer. Armed with Oki's ProQ2400 programming and decent specs, companies may begin exploring the options of the 'C' class of printers.

Design

Nearly every one of Oki's printers in this range have an identical appearance outside of a few small design changes. This model houses all of the maintenance and internals inside of two drawers on the face of the printer. The four Oki C5750 toner cartridges as well as the 300 sheet input tray can be found just inside these two hatches. The 256MB of RAM help run the deceptively plain set of controls. A 2 line backlit LCD and a few navigational buttons can control most of the features of this printer besides some of the more complex special media applications. The USB 2.0 port and power cables are tucked along the bottom end of this printer with no networking options on this base model.

Advantages

The C5750 is the entry-level machine for this particular class of Oki printers.
